About

Ruth Shepperd

I have the ability to deliver clients outstanding websites and emails, ensuring there are maximum accessibility and usability. As an extra skill, I like to design brand logos that would be suitable for the website and design other material.

I have worked for large clients including Thomson Reuters, Sony, Memnon and a Government Agency. I have also worked for clients such as Signly, EazyPrint, Maddersons London, Waters Edge, the Wealthcare Partnership and Sienna Taye Hairdressing Salon.

My aim is to continue developing skills and progress in my role in creating fantastic websites, emails and printed materials.

Reporting

If the client has sent a raised ticket, declaring the problem of the website, I tend to analyse the problem and once fixed, provide them with a clear problem and solution report.

I also like to check analytics, heatmap and rankings monthly for websites and emails so I produce these type of reports to clients too.

Travel & Hobbies

In my spare time, I have been involved in Girlguiding UK as a Guide Leader. I like to be adventurous and do challenging activities. Here are my favourites:

Skiing

Passo del Tonale, Italy

Jan 16, 2016

Travelled to Passo del Tonale, Italy to go Skiing. It was an amazing experience and achieved a red medium level which was hard but it was something to be proud of.

Travelling

Tenerife

Jan 23, 2017

Travelled to Tenerife for a week and we went to do some sight-seeing including Mount Teide. I went scuba diving in the harbour, which was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Finally, we went to Siam Park Waterpark and the Loro Parque - Animal Park which was fun.

India

Jul 17, 2010

Travelling to India for 3 weeks with the Senior Section of Girlguiding to work on a community project at Sangam, Pune. This was followed by a tour of India, learning about the culture, food, transport and the environment.

Canal Boating

Hilperton - Hungerford, UK

Sep 11, 2017

I love canal boats, especially driving the boat and doing the canal locks with my family. The greatest bit of doing the locks is at the Caen Hill Flight, where there are 29 locks in a row. The last canal holiday I had, was over 10 years ago with the Guides. It was great to bring back the experience!

Swimming and Fitness

I like to keep active in my spare time. I do a daily fitness routine at home and at the gym. I go to the gym once or twice a week to make use of the cardio machines. I like cycling and I try to improve my personal time on a bicycle at the gym once a month. I also like swimming and improve my swimming techniques. During some of the weekends, I like to do an hour of walking especially in the New Forest and Moors Valley.

Camping

I love camping outdoors, especially during the summer term as I enjoy evenings relaxing by the campfire in peace. I started camping when I joined Girlguiding in 2003.
