Passo Del Tonale is an excellent Ski Resort and would return. It wasn't crowded with people, and we were very fortunate with the snow. There were a variety of tracks to ski down, with the use of ski lifts and cable cars. There are different levels at this resort, which are blue (beginner), red (intermediate) and black (advanced). I recommend this resort if you are a beginner or a regular skier.
If you are thinking of doing a skiing holiday, January to February is the best time to do it. Furthermore, I would recommend booking a Skiing holiday via Crystal Ski, as they were fantastic.
I believe most hotels in the Passo del Tonale are pleasant, and most of them allow you to store your ski or snowboard equipment securely. We stayed in Albergo Eden, which was a convenient hotel. It had friendly staff, lovely service and lovely food.
Most of the food was Italian. There is a wide range of restaurants wherever you are skiing or snowboarding. There are a few cafes that do a delicious hot chocolate with cream and this hot chocolate, which did warm me up during cold temperatures of about -10°C.
